For our Singapore based client, SparesCNX, through our research we created a segmentation of the market based on sector financial buoyancy, tech savviness, need (high inventory volumes on board), and geographical location.
By doing this we enabled their business development personnel to focus only on the shipping companies that were likely to be able to afford the technology, had the core skills to implement the solution, had a funamental need for it, and were in a geographcal area that SparesCNX could service.
We eliminated approximately 80% of the market in order to put the majority of their resources into targeting the right kind of companies. This enabled SparesCNX to achieve their year 1 customer acquisition goals.
